Knead all ingredients (except for the poppy seed baking) and work them into a smooth dough. Then roll out into a long rectangle (best on permanent baking foil). The poppy seeds are then spread onto the dough up to the edge.
Carefully roll up the dough from the long side and always press down a little. At the end, the roll is cut into slices about 1 cm wide.
Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes at 200 ° C. It also tastes very tasty when you mix hazelnut brittle into the poppy seed mixture.
