Instructions

  1. Finely grate the marzipan, preferably cool beforehand.
  2. Mix the butter with the egg, sugar, salt and vanilla flavor, then mix in the flour, poppy seeds and marzipan and knead into a dough. Shape the dough into rolls approx. 3 cm in diameter and cut off 2 cm thick slices. If the dough sticks too much, refrigerate briefly.
  3. Place the slices on the baking tray and press small indentations in the middle with your finger, but do not press them all the way through. Always put a dollop of cranberries in the wells. Bake at 180 ° C top / bottom heat or 160 ° C convection for 20-25 minutes, checking again and again that the cookies are not too dark. Depending on the oven, the baking time can also be shorter!
