- Rinse the ribs under cold running water, pat dry and cut into portions (depending on how hungry you are). Rub with salt, pepper and marjoram.
- Peel and quarter the onions. Heat the oil in a casserole and fry the meat and onions well in portions.
- Add the bay leaves and allspice grains and pour in the hot water and lemon juice.
- Cover the pot and put it in the oven. Top and bottom heat 200-220 degrees (preheated).
- Hot air 180-200 degrees (not preheated).
- Gas level 4-5 preheated.
- Braising time approx. 55-60 min.
- Allow the meat to brown about 10 minutes before the end of the braising time without the lid.
