Ingredients

  • 1 kg ribs, (peeled ribs from (pork)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • marjoram
  • 2 onions)
  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 grains allspice
  • 0.25 liter ¼ water, hot
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Rinse the ribs under cold running water, pat dry and cut into portions (depending on how hungry you are). Rub with salt, pepper and marjoram.
  2. Peel and quarter the onions. Heat the oil in a casserole and fry the meat and onions well in portions.
  3. Add the bay leaves and allspice grains and pour in the hot water and lemon juice.
  4. Cover the pot and put it in the oven. Top and bottom heat 200-220 degrees (preheated).
  5. Hot air 180-200 degrees (not preheated).
  6. Gas level 4-5 preheated.
  7. Braising time approx. 55-60 min.
  8. Allow the meat to brown about 10 minutes before the end of the braising time without the lid.
