Cut the vanilla pod lengthways, scrape out the pulp and place in a saucepan with the pod, milk and oat flakes. Bring the mixture to the boil while stirring and cook over a mild heat for approx. 5 - 10 minutes until a porridge has formed. Then remove the pod.
Mash half of the banana, stir into the finished porridge and pour the porridge into a bowl. Serve the porridge with the cornflakes and wheat pops, the remaining banana, the chocolate chips and the washed blueberries.
I never sweeten because the sweet fruits are enough for me, but everyone should decide that for themselves. If you want, you can sweeten it with honey or sugar.
