- Boil the potatoes, peel them and place them in a bowl with the fully cooked, cooled polenta (solid mass). Season to taste with salt and spices.
- Mash with a fork to a dough-like mass. Form small thalers out of the dough and fry on both sides until golden brown in a pan.
