Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and grate them either by hand or with the help of a food processor. Peel the onion and grate with the potatoes (also use a food processor).
  2. Heat the oil.
  3. Put all ingredients in a bowl, mix together and finally add the hot oil - it will simmer a little.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  5. Place the potato mixture on a baking sheet (preferably the drip pan) and then bake for an hour at the specified temperature until the batter is golden brown.
  6. Take it out and let it cool down a bit, otherwise it will come out as a porridge.
  7. Serve warm.
  8. Can be cooled completely and then warmed up later (this is how you traditionally eat it) and is a great accompaniment to all meat.
  9. Tip: I always brown the onions before they go into the potato batter.
