Peel the potatoes and grate them either by hand or with the help of a food processor. Peel the onion and grate with the potatoes (also use a food processor).
Heat the oil.

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
Place the potato mixture on a baking sheet (preferably the drip pan) and then bake for an hour at the specified temperature until the batter is golden brown.
Take it out and let it cool down a bit, otherwise it will come out as a porridge.
Serve warm.
Can be cooled completely and then warmed up later (this is how you traditionally eat it) and is a great accompaniment to all meat.
Tip: I always brown the onions before they go into the potato batter.
