Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes. Clean the carrots and cut into small slices.
Put the carrots on top with the water. Wait 5 minutes, then add the potatoes. Season with the sour cream, salt, pepper, nutmeg and paprika and simmer gently for about 30-45 minutes.
These vegetables are delicious as an accompaniment to pork chops or simply on their own.
You can also modify it and cut sausages into it. Then you have a very simple main course that tastes best on cold days.
