Wash the potatoes and pat dry. Cut into wedges and fry in hot oil for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
Clean and wash the peppers and cut into fine strips. Peel and chop the garlic and onions. Add the onion cubes, paprika strips and garlic cubes to the potatoes approx. 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time and fry them together.
Season with gyros, a little salt and pepper. Add the thyme just before the end of the roasting time. Cut the cheese into cubes and sprinkle over the potatoes.
