Peel, quarter and thinly slice the potatoes. Clean the peppers, cut into about 6 parts and cut them into thin strips. Peel and quarter the onion and cut into thin strips. Coarsely grate the cheese.
Put the potatoes, peppers, onions and 100 g cheese in a baking dish, mix well. Season the vegetables with thyme, salt, pepper and nutmeg, pour in the cream and sprinkle the rest of the cheese over everything.
Bake in the preheated oven at 170 degrees for 50-60 minutes until the top layer has a beautiful golden yellow color.
