Instructions

  1. Grate the peeled potatoes with the coarse grater in a bowl and mix with salt, pepper and the freshly grated nutmeg. Add eggs. If you want, you can season the hash browns with a little caraway. Now mix in the sesame seeds. Thicken the liquid in the dough with a little flour. Heat sunflower oil or margarine in the frying pan. Put about 2-3 spoons of the rösti mixture in a larger cup and put it into the pan. This is how you get nice round and equally sized rösti. Sizzle crispy on both sides.
