Peel the potatoes and carrots, wash the leek, cut everything into small pieces and place in a saucepan with the vegetable stock, lovage and thyme. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Pour in the cream, puree and simmer for about 5 minutes on a low heat. Season with a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Homemade pancakes, quartered, poked with a fork and turned on, taste particularly good. But hot sausages are also possible.
