Cut the white and light green (up to the large leaf roots) of the leek sticks into pieces (as long as half a slice of ham, approx. 10 cm). Halve these pieces lengthways.
Roll each piece of leek in half a slice of ham, then wrap with puff pastry. Bake in a baking dish for about 1/2 - 3/4 hour at 150 ° C.
Mix the sour cream with milk and egg, season to taste. Do not pour this mixture on, but between the rolls, sprinkle the rolls with cheese and bake for another 1/4 hour at 180 ° C (this way they will be nice and brown on top).
When it comes to cheese, we prefer to use mozzarella and half-half Gouda cheese mixed together. With 2 rolls per nose a simple lunch for 4, we like to eat a green salad with it.
