Peel the potato, wash and scoop out the pumpkin, peel the carrot and peel the onion. Slice all the vegetables with a coarse slicer and mix in a bowl. Crack and chop the nuts, then add. Mix in the egg and potato starch. Season to taste with the spices. Finally add the lemon and mix.
Heat the oil in a pan and pour it into the pan in small portions and press accordingly with a spoon. Fry until golden on both sides, remove and let the oil drain off on kitchen paper. Finally, arrange the rösti on a plate and then serve the homemade applesauce.
To give the rösti a kick, you can sprinkle chilli flakes over it.
