Base: Knead the flour, sugar, baking powder, egg and butter well in the food processor and place the base and edge in a springform pan.
Topping: also mix the quark, milk, sugar, vanilla sugar, pudding powder, egg yolks and cooled butter together and pour into the mold (very liquid!)
Meringue bonnet: Beat the egg white and powdered sugar into the egg whites and cover the quark filling with small `mountains´ with a spoon.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour at medium heat.
The meringue topping can easily be left out. You can quickly conjure up a birthday cake with ready-made, colorful candy pens. Or you can cover the whole thing with chocolate icing. No matter how, it tastes delicious and is not as difficult as you initially think (and even I succeed, actually can`t bake).
