Instructions

  1. Mix the low-fat quark with the eggs until creamy. Stir in the flour and semolina. Season with grated lemon zest and sugar. Let the mass swell for 30 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, for the berry sauce, heat the mixed berries (fresh or frozen) in a saucepan, coarsely puree and season with a little sugar or sweetener.
  3. With two tablespoons (as a sweet main course) or 2 teaspoons (as dessert), cut off small dumplings and let them steep in boiling (no longer bubbly boiling) water until the dumplings float on the surface.
  4. Spread the berry sauce on 4 dessert plates as a mirror. Arrange the drained dumplings on the berry sauce and serve garnished with lemon balm or mint leaves.
