Cut the chicken fillets into strips and fry in 2 tablespoons of oil. Dust with curry and fry briefly. Caution: Curry must not burn, otherwise it will be bitter!
Add the applesauce and the lentils and stir in 3 - 4 tablespoons of the liquid from the lentils. Season to taste with the granulated broth. Simmer for 5 minutes over low heat.
Just before serving, stir in the yogurt. Season to taste with salt and cayenne pepper. Garnish with parsley. I serve rice with it.
Lentils contain valuable B vitamins. To digest these vitamins, the body needs milk protein, which is contributed by the yogurt in this recipe.
