Cut the potatoes into 1cm thick slices (if they are not fresh or the skin is very hard: peel them beforehand) and cook in salted water for about 5-10 minutes. Drain and allow to evaporate.
Line a tray with aluminum foil and distribute the potato slices next to each other so that they are not on top of each other.
Brush the potatoes with olive oil or melted butter and sprinkle with the herbs. If you like, you can add some crushed garlic to the olive oil or butter. It`s also delicious with garlic oil.
Grill the potatoes in the oven under the grill for about 10 minutes at level 2 until crispy and brown.
Caution: It can happen very quickly, so check again and again.
