Peel the onion (s) and cut into pieces. Cut the sausages into slices that are not too thin.
Heat the oil in a saucepan, allow the onion to turn translucent. Add the sausages and fry to the desired degree of browning. First add some water and then the tomatoes. Let it simmer for 5 minutes over a low heat. Add Italian herbs and simmer for another 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, paprika powder or chili powder.
