Peel and dice the onion and garlic. Wash, clean and cut / pluck broccoli. Wash, clean and slice the carrots.
Fry the onion and garlic in oil in a wok or in a large pan. Add broccoli and carrots and cook for a few minutes. Add the ginger, soy sauce and sugar, mix everything well and cook with the lid closed over a medium heat for 7-10 minutes. Season to taste with salt.
As a supplement to e.g., Serve basmati rice with an Asian sauce (e.g. soy or peanut sauce).
