Wash and prepare the radicchio, pluck into bite-sized pieces and distribute on plates. Peel, quarter and core the pears, also cut into bite-sized pieces and spread on the salad. Break the walnut halves into pieces and sprinkle over the salad. Use a peeler or similar to peel off the shavings from the parmesan and spread over the salad. Mix all ingredients for the dressing well and pour over the salad. Goes well with: fresh baguette or roasted baguette slices.
