Instructions

  1. Mash the radishes with a jam jar, the flat side of a kitchen hatchet or similar by hitting them once or twice so that they crack open but do not disintegrate.
  2. Do the same with the cucumber cubes, if any are added. Sprinkle with salt, let stand for 5 minutes, then rinse briefly, dry and place in a bowl.
  3. Mix carefully with the other ingredients and refrigerate for about 20 minutes.
  4. Serve cold, drizzled with a little sesame oil if desired.
