Instructions

  1. Cook beetroot forever, only cleaned, otherwise untreated. One and a half to two hours, for sure. When it`s done, it`s soft and dark red on the inside.
  2. Then peel sparingly and cut into small cubes. Freshly peel the apple and cut into small (smaller) cubes. Put together in a bowl.
  3. Toast the sesame seeds with chopped onions and garlic and a little oil in a pan over medium heat. Add to the salad.
  4. Season to taste with lemon, vinegar (about the same amount as lemon juice), pepper and salt. I no longer use oil, just that from the pan, about 2-3 tablespoon.
  5. Stir and preferably let stand. An hour or two is great, a night is perfect!
