Instructions

  1. Wash, dry, quarter and core the pears. Put the pear quarters in a saucepan and sprinkle with the sugar. Add the cinnamon stick and top up everything with the red wine. Cover and simmer over a moderate heat for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool in the brew.
  2. Beat the cream with the vanilla sugar and, depending on your taste, a little more sugar until stiff. Arrange the red wine pears, garnish with the cream and serve.
