Instructions

  3. 1 cup contains 200 ml of liquid
  4. First make the syrup. Boil the water with sugar for about 10 minutes and allow to cool.
  5. Now stir the eggs with the powdered sugar into a frothy mass. Add yogurt and semolina. Finally add the flour, vanilla sugar and baking powder and stir to a smooth mass. Grease a large baking dish with oil and spread the semolina dough in it. Bake at 160 degrees for about 30 minutes until a nice tan has developed.
  6. Cut the hot cake into diamonds or small squares. Now use a ladle to spread the cooled syrup on the cake while it is still hot. After the cake has completely absorbed the syrup, decorate with nuts of your choice and serve.
