Instructions

  1. Cut the ham sausage into 1 - 2 mm thick slices and then into strips approx. 3 - 4 mm wide and 15 mm long. Cut the cucumbers into pieces of the same size, but 3 - 4 mm long.
  2. Put the cucumber pieces in a bowl along with the mayonnaise and sausage. Add the cucumber liquid and a lot of pepper from the mill, a little sugar and mustard and season to taste.
  3. Salt is usually not necessary as all the ingredients are already seasoned. This salad can be served as a spread or as part of a Russian salad.
