Put salt, sugar and milk in a saucepan and bring to the boil (don`t forget to stir). Now add the rice pudding and simmer over medium heat for about 40 minutes, don`t forget to stir regularly!
Stir in the chopped fruit 10 minutes before completion, you can also add the fruit afterwards (when serving) or just sprinkle with cinnamon (to taste).
You can eat the rice pudding cold as well as warm.
