Dice the onion and sauté with a little oil in a saucepan. Add the rice and sweat briefly. Then fill the small cup twice with water and add the stock powder to the pot so that the rice to water ratio is 1 to 2. Add the frozen peas and carrots. Bring to the boil, close the pot and simmer on the lowest level.
In the meantime, cut up the sausages and dice the cheese. Just before the rice is done, add the sausages to the pot and let them warm up. When the rice is cooked, add the cheese cubes, fold in, close the pan and wait a few minutes. Either stir the melted cheese again or leave it as a cheese cubes. We like to eat both.
