Cut the wieners into small slices. Core, wash and dice the peppers. Peel and dice the onion as well. Peel the garlic clove and cut into wafer-thin slices.
Heat the oil in a pan or saucepan and fry the wieners well in it, then add the diced paprika and onion. Then add the tomatoes that have been sieved and the chunky ones.
Season the sauce with pepper, salt and basil or oregano and add the clove of garlic. Let the sausage goulash simmer for about 20 minutes.
