Instructions

  1. Heat the water to around 40 degrees, add the lemon juice and pour over the well washed rose petals. Close the jar tightly and let it steep for about 12 hours.
  2. Put in a saucepan and heat until just before boiling point. Strain the petals. Put the juice back into the saucepan, bring to the boil with sugar and lemon juice, stirring constantly.
  3. Fill into bottles hot and close immediately.
