Cut the bacon into thin strips, finely chop the onion. Put the minced meat in a bowl. Add the onion and the well-squeezed bun and mix everything well. Then add the bacon strips and mix in well. If the meat mixture is not yet of a good consistency, just add a few breadcrumbs. Season well with salt and pepper.
Grease a suitable baking dish with a little oil or margarine / butter and shape the mince into a loaf of bread. Place this in the mold and bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 1 hour (this varies depending on the oven. You should definitely check whether the meat is done).
The roast should get a nice crust. This is crunchy and nicely spicy.
I serve bread dumplings and a pepper sauce with it. As a side dish I add onion mushrooms (in my recipe).
