Melt the butter in a non-stick pan. Add the garlic and onion, simmer gently with a little salt for 15 minutes.
Then add the orzo and the saffron and simmer for about 1 minute. Then add the broth and simmer on the lowest level for about 10-12 minutes. If the broth is not enough, add a little water. Finally add the dill and a little more butter and serve immediately.
