Put the oil in a small bowl, squeeze the limes and add the juice. Mix briefly and season with salt, pepper, paprika powder, cayenne pepper, a little sugar and oregano.
Place the scampi evenly on 4 kebab skewers and place on a piece of aluminum foil. Brush with the oil and season if necessary.
Now heat some of the lime-oil mixture in a pan and fry the skewers on all sides.
I like to serve them with potatoes, which are then also drizzled with the oil.
The skewers are also ideal as a starter or finger food.
