First soak the oat groats for about 30 minutes in a good 500 ml of cold water. Then bring to the boil with soaking water and salt and leave to soak in the saucepan over medium heat without a lid for about 40 minutes. Stir occasionally.
After swelling, stir in the milk and serve very hot on preheated plates. Top with sugar, possibly toasted sesame seeds and whipped cream.
