Put the carefully washed berries in a saucepan and press lightly with a spoon or pounder. Add a little water and let it simmer on a low level for about a quarter of an hour.
Strain the fruit pulp through a sieve and fill in the sea buckthorn juice. Sweeten with honey or sugar to taste.
Best to enjoy fresh.
Sea buckthorn juice can be kept in the refrigerator for a few days, but is also great for freezing.
