Put the milk with butter, vanilla sugar, semolina and 100 g sugar in a saucepan and bring everything to a boil. In the meantime, mix the quark with the eggs and 100 g sugar in a bowl. When the semolina has cooked, add it to the bowl, mix everything together and place in a greased casserole dish.
Then place the cherries on top and press in a little. Sprinkle with flaked almonds and bake for 30 minutes at 170 degrees.
