Bring 1 liter (100 cl) of milk to the boil. Meanwhile mix the semolina and sugar and stir into the hot milk. Add rum and vanilla flavoring and simmer gently for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour the semolina pudding into a bowl that has been rinsed with cold water and let it cool.
Tip: You can also fill the semolina pudding in portions into small cups (e.g. from rice pudding from the supermarket) and, after cooling, turn it out on a plate and garnish.
