Instructions

  1. Sift the flour into a mixing bowl and mix carefully with the yeast. Add the remaining ingredients and process everything with the hand mixer (dough hook) first on low level and then for 5 minutes on highest level to a smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until it has visibly enlarged (approx. 40 minutes).
  2. Dust the dough lightly with flour and knead again briefly on the work surface.
  3. Roll out the dough on a greased baking sheet.
  4. Cherry topping: Take the cherries out of the glass and let them drain, spread on the floor.
  5. Streusel: Add the ingredients to the bowl and mix with the mixer until the streusel forms. Then distribute on the cherries.
  6. Top / bottom heat: 200 - 220 degrees (preheated)
  7. Baking time: approx. 20 - 30 minutes.
  8. Let the cake cool down.
