Ingredients
- 375 g flour type 450
- 1 packet yeast (dry yeast)
- 50 grams sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- 1 egg (s)
- 200 ml milk, lukewarm
- 50 g butter, melted
For the sprinkles:
- 200 g flour
- 100 g suar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 125 g butter
For covering:
- 700 g cherry (s) (canned)

- Sift the flour into a mixing bowl and mix carefully with the yeast. Add the remaining ingredients and process everything with the hand mixer (dough hook) first on low level and then for 5 minutes on highest level to a smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until it has visibly enlarged (approx. 40 minutes).
- Dust the dough lightly with flour and knead again briefly on the work surface.
- Roll out the dough on a greased baking sheet.
- Cherry topping: Take the cherries out of the glass and let them drain, spread on the floor.
- Streusel: Add the ingredients to the bowl and mix with the mixer until the streusel forms. Then distribute on the cherries.
- Top / bottom heat: 200 - 220 degrees (preheated)
- Baking time: approx. 20 - 30 minutes.
- Let the cake cool down.
