Peel the potatoes, wash the apples. Cut both into wedges (eighths) and layer them in a baking dish. Sprinkle some salt over it. Spread honey over it. The amount of honey to taste, I use about 4-5 tablespoons, then it`s relatively sweet.
Salt the chicken legs all around and place on top of the apple / potato mixture.
The baking dish goes in the oven on the middle rail. Bake in the fan oven and 190 ° C for approx. 55 minutes (without preheating) until the flails are golden brown. If you are unsure whether the chicken is done, you can use a knife test to find out whether the meat is easily detached from the bone. If so, the chicken is done.
Tip:
A whole chicken can be used for larger quantities.
