Drain the mandarin oranges while collecting the juice. Beat the low-fat quark with the juice, raw cane sugar and vanilla until smooth. Finally fold in the mandarin oranges.
Makes 3 large portions of 300 g each. Ideal as a snack or as a strengthening after exercise.
Can also be divided into 4 - 6 servings of 240 g, 190 g or 150 g each as a dessert.
* Please ensure good quality. I always use organic quality mandarin oranges from the glass. You can find them in the health food store or in the Dorgeriemarkt (organic own brand).
** With the specified amount of sugar and the sugar from the mandarin oranges, the milk contains roughly as much sugar as a purchased fruit quark. If you don`t like it so sweet, you will use less raw cane sugar. If you like it very sweet, you can of course increase the amount of sugar.
