Puree the almond butter with the water. Cut up the steak. Cut the onion into strips and the mushrooms into slices.
In a large pan, first fry the onion strips together with the lupine slices until both are colored. Now add the mushrooms and fry for 2 minutes. Mix with the almond butter and season with the spices.
Simmer for another 2 minutes. If necessary, add additional water and stir in if the consistency is too thick. Rice or spaetzle go well with it.
