Soft cheese is made very quickly and easily. It turns out to be very tender and tasty (reminiscent of Philadelphia cheese). It can be used to make creams for cakes, cheesecakes, rolls. Indispensable for sandwiches, both on its own and with various additives.
We mix sour cream (I take 26%) and yogurt (you can take classic or Greek) with salt.
Place a sieve or colander in a saucepan so that it does not touch the bottom. We cover with gauze in 4-5 additions. Pour the mass into the cheesecloth, cover with hanging edges.
Place a plate of suitable dia on top. And we put a jar of water on it as oppression – 0.7 liters. We put everything in the refrigerator for a day.
Carefully unfold the cheesecloth, put a plate on top, and turn it over. We remove the gauze. The soft cheese is ready.
