Instructions

  1. Peel the apples and cut into 1/2 cm thick slices. Cut out the core casing. Mix the flour in a bowl with milk or beer until smooth. Stir in the egg yolks, vanilla sugar and oil. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and the sugar to make snow. Pull under the batter. Dip the apple slices in the batter on a fork and bake in clarified butter or hot oil until light brown. Mix the sugar and cinnamon and roll the cakes in it.
