Clean the mushrooms and cut them in slices. Finely chop the garlic and fry both in butter. Deglaze with Southern Comfort. Add mustard and stir. Add the cream and stir. Season with Tabasco and salt. Dilute or thicken the sauce as desired.
Sear the steaks on both sides for 2 - 3 minutes, depending on the thickness. Serve the steaks and mushroom sauce garnished with fresh parsley.
This goes well with potato wedges and green beans with bacon.
