Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente, drain and rinse with cold water so that it does not stick.
In the meantime, put the oil in a saucepan and fry the onion and garlic pieces in it. Then add the dried herbs and the chilli pepper and sauté as well. Now add the tomatoes and simmer for a few minutes with the lid closed. Now add a good dash of water, the spices and the tomato paste and stir everything thoroughly. Sometimes I add a dash of red wine, but I don`t have to.
Sprinkle freshly grated parmesan on top.
Tips: If you like, you can add a little sour cream or crème fraîche.
If a whole chilli is too much for you, take a half first. Or you can leave them whole, cook them and take them out again before serving.
