Thaw the spinach and then use the spinach, flour, eggs and spices to make a batter.
Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil. Pour in the spaetzle dough in portions with the spaetzle slicer or a spaetzle board and let it simmer until it floats on top. Take out the spaetzle and continue doing this until the dough is used up.
Toss in a pan with butter and add grated cheese to taste. Salad goes well with it.
