Instructions

  1. Peel the cucumbers, cut in half lengthways and scrape out the seeds with a sharp-edged spoon. Cut the cucumber halves into slices.
  2. Peel and finely chop onions and garlic. Heat the butter in a large saucepan. Sauté the onions and garlic in it. Dust the paprika over it and sauté briefly. Then add the tomato puree and also roast for a moment,
  3. Deglaze with the white wine. Add the cucumbers and season with the salt and pepper. Cover the vegetables and steam them until soft.
  4. Meanwhile chop the dill. Mix some of the cooking liquid with the creme fraiche and add this to the cucumber.
  5. Add the dill and mix everything carefully. Season to taste with salt and a pinch of pepper.
  6. Tip: Serve with mashed potatoes and combine with pork steaks or sausages.
