If fresh yeast is used, dissolve the yeast in a little water. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and knead everything together vigorously and for a long time (this works best in the food processor, of course), then let rise for about 1/2 hour (possibly a little longer with dry yeast) until the dough has increased in volume.
For preparation, wrap it in rolls around long, thin sticks and hold them in the fire (or even better, without a flame near the embers) until the stick bread is crispy brown. Then eat straight from the stick!
