Strawberry Biscuits from Curd Dough Instructions

  1. Prepare the required ingredients.
Strawberry Biscuits from Curd Dough step 1
  2. Start by making the dough. Rub oil at room temperature with 1 tbsp sugar, a pinch of salt and vanilla sugar.
  3. Add cottage cheese and grind again until smooth.
  4. Stir in the sifted flour and baking powder for a fairly coarse crumb.
  5. Pour in 1 tbsp cold milk and knead the dough. Add a little more flour if needed. Roll the dough into a ball, place in a bag and set aside for 30 minutes. (or more) in the refrigerator.
  6. After the dough has cooled and set, divide it into 3 or 4 equal portions.
  7. Roll each piece into a cake.
  8. Now you can prepare the filling. I do not recommend doing it in advance, because strawberries let juice very quickly. Cut strawberries into slices.
  9. Mix gently with sugar and starch.
  10. Spread over the center of the tortillas.
  11. Form biscuits by lifting and pinching the edges of the dough.
  12. Put 2-3 small pieces of butter in each biscuit and send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
